Katas Raj Temple

Katas Raj Temple

Katas Raj Temple is a spectacular reminder of Pakistan's unpopularity with its Hindu history.

For the past ten years, the historic site at Punjab has served as a gateway to India-Pakistan relations.

The Supreme Court considered the protection of the monument Katat Raj.One of Pakistan's oldest Hindu religious websites, the scholar also said.

This highly complex version of temples dedicated to Ram, Hanuman, and Shiva is arranged around a healing pool and is located on the Salt Range near Kallar Kahar, Punjab. Shiva as she flies in the sky playing with the useless body of her partner Sati. He shed two tears, one growing the lake, the other falling and building a pool in Ajmer, Rajasthan. The Pandavas came to this place sometime during their exile, the legend goes, and they built some old temples. According to historical records, most of the Kashmiri architectural temples were built in the eleventh century CE, when the region, along with parts of the Punjab, fell under the control of the Kashmiri people.

Katas Raj, on the other hand, is not just a scary Hindu website. A short distance from the lake there are gurdwara settlements thought to have been occupied by Guru Nanak during his pilgrimage, places of worship. associated with exotic religions. The ruins of Hari Singh Nalwa's hasili, the famous Maharaja Ranjit Singh fashion, are located near the temple of Ram. Behind the hasili are partially excavated areas of the Buddhist stupa, formerly the temple building taken when the Subcontinent fell under the control of Buddhism during the reign of Emperor Ashoka. Al-Biruni, a prominent Islamic scholar who brought Hinduism to the West. he is said to have spent time studying Hinduism here in the 11th century.

Throughout Pakistan life, however, Katas Raj remains invisible. Former Indian deputy prime minister LK Advani visited the temple in 2005 and urged the government to renovate it. As Pervez Musharraf's regime repaired relations with Delhi in the mid-2000s, Due to the development of relations with Delhi in the mid-2000s, Katas Raj was well cared for, and Indian pilgrims were encouraged to visit the Shivratri festival. Earlier this year, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif visited Katas Raj and ordered that it be retained, bringing the website back to the public eye.

Katas Raj's archives reflect Pakistan's changing attitude toward its Hindu past in many ways. it is a delightful national narrative. Participants from Hindu and Sikh groups were attacked during the 1965 and 1971 wars with India.

On the right track

The situation began to change in the 21st century, when a military dictator sought to establish a moderately enlightened world philosophy.

It was a turning point: after decades of silence, Hindu history of the United States became part of the normal public discourse. Saidpur, a model village in Islamabad, was restored, and its Hindu temple and Sikh gurdwara were rebuilt. Visitors flocked to the village, and many restaurants were opened. The interior of the temple was painted and restored to its original condition, but the image was missing. In all talk about enlightened equality, the united states of america is perhaps still not ready to enter its Hindu background without reservation. The temple remains in use for a long time, as it is kept in the image, keeping it afloat so as not to disturb the agreed-upon nationalistic principles. so as not to violate the agreed terms of national identification.

It had taken more than 50 years to even talk about rebuilding Hindu temples, however, the preservation was reflected in a situation that had been created in another way — a monument to our history but unacceptably unacceptable in our day.

Katas Raj's floor is mentioned here. Recently, hearing the case of a suo moto over the erection of a sacred lake, Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar asked Punjab government officials why there were no complex images in the temple. Police said pilgrims were expected to bring their personal belongings with them.

It was a reminder that despite having proud temples, Pakistan continues to do more of its Hindu history. To the police, Katas Raj was no longer a place of worship, sacred to millions of people, yet a mere monument to history and archeology. As a result, its restoration focused on separating the intellectuals from this process, which was necessary for the Hindu heritage of the Pakistani culture. As a result, the Supreme Court's interest in the care of temples in Katas Raj is a step in the right direction.

For more than a decade, Pakistan has found it extremely good to talk about repairing and protecting old Hindu temples. But is it designed to allow them to be places of worship?
